Enter into the classic cottage style home and enjoy the dramatic, open plan great room combination where the living room, dining room and kitchen merge daily life activities in comfort and style.

Natural light beams in through the front picture window and through the back patio sliding door, creating a spacious and inviting ambiance in the great room. The new gourmet kitchen is a chef's delight - anchored by the peninsula island with space for counter seating, plenty of storage, new stainless steel appliances, and a window overlooking the sunny garden. For a sit-down meal there is a dining area to the side, or venture out to the new deck and paver patio for an outdoor party in the glorious entertainers’ backyard. The new designer bathroom is both modern and classic, outfitted in the latest colors and finishes with tiled shower over tub with storage niche, a hanging wall vanity and LED lit mirror.

When it’s time to rest, two generously sized bedrooms flank the front and back of the house, and a petite center bedroom sized for kids or a work from home space is also included in this convenient layout. There is even a finished and permitted bonus shed structure that offers a light and bright escape space for work from home, exercise, pursuing hobbies and so much more.

On a large fenced-in lot with plenty of parking, this home has multiple easy care flowering shrubs and plants, a wide grassy yard area for play, and additional storage in the attached lofted garage area. Easy access to San Leandro, major highways, and more. Plus, with a new roof and systems already in place you can move right in and enjoy the ultimate in local living!

Neighborhood

San Leandro is a small city just south of Oakland. Its east side stretches up into the hills of the East Bay Regional Park District. The west side is flatter and has the advantage of the San Francisco Bay shoreline, public golf course, and marina.
Homes for sale in San Leandro can be traced through the decades -- from the 1910s to the present day. A wide variety of architectural styles is found in north San Leandro. Dramatic, hillside contemporary homes, many of which feature expansive bay and canyon views, are the hallmark of the Bayo Vista neighborhood. Charming, older homes sit along the winding streets of the Estudillo Estates and Broadmoor Districts. Most of the city's ranch-style homes lie towards the Marina, along with some newer, custom-home developments.

San Leandro is proud of its small-town feel and boasts a Wednesday farmers' markets, several annual festivals, and an increasing number of locally owned restaurants and coffee houses. San Leandro’s commute options are excellent: it has its own Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station, transbay buses, and easy access to Interstate 880 and Interstate 580 for trips to the Silicon Valley or San Francisco.
